KAABIL Trailer review

Hey guys, after bummer like Mohenjo Daro Hrithik Roshan is back in business with his latest outing with Yami Gautam and Sanjay Gupta in KAABIL. Trailer came out yesterday, in case you didn’t catch it here it is have a look first and then will talk a lot about it.

So first things first Hrithik Roshan is playing blind this time. Over the years he has proved himself many times as an actor and this time he looks promising as well. He is also looking  different this time may be its age but now as he is growing older he doesn’t have that pale face. In trailer you can clearly notice his chubby cheeks.

According to trailer story follows like this. A blind man meets a blind girl, they fall in love imagine to stay together happily forever. Then bad guys show up they do something bad or probably kill the girl and now our hero is out seeking revenge. Now this time our hero is blind so it is quite interesting to see how he avenges his love.

Kaabil is produced by Rakesh Roshan who needs no introduction this man knows his business. Sanjay Gupta who is quite famous for making grey shade movies like Shootout At Lokhandwala and Shootout At Wadala so he knows and he knows it very how to make films. One thing which really impressed me was background by Salim Sulaiman.

Now let’s talk about the bad guys played by Ronit Roy and his brother Rohit Roy. When we talk about playing bad guys Ronit Roy has got a natural kind of stone cold face so he also looking good. If my guess is not wrong Rohit Roy will be playing a side kick.

Overall trailer is looking promising. If you watched it let me know what you think about it. 

JURASSIC WORLD MOVIE REVIEW

After 22 years of last Jurassic Park movie finally Jurassic World has hit the theatres with a bang. Audience is excited for this movie but does this movie live the expectation or not will come to know.

Personally I was very excited for its movie because this movie is my childhood franchise I grew up with this franchise I have seen this franchise grow in front of me and I am more than satisfied with this movie but I am sure not everyone will be as happy with this movie.

As I already mention in my trailer review that “CGI would be the biggest aspect of this movie” and it is believe me the dinosaurs looks so real and so majestic in this movie. But one thing is different this movie doesn’t feel like a Jurassic Park movie it feels like a monster movie still it is entertaining.

As we already knew about the plot that The Park is open again and scientists have created a new genetically modified species of dinosaur which is now out of control and creating kiosk. The only reason why this movie is not a great movie and that reason is it fails to capture the emotion or feeling of characters in some part this movie feels soulless.

It is a monster movie so we already know that a lot of people are going to die but the important thing is audience must feel pity for casualties but in this movie in some part you just don’t care if the characters live or die that’s the only problem this movie has.  

Chris Pratt is amazing in this movie so does Irrfan Khan,  its kind of proud feeling to watch him in this kind of big budget Hollywood movie.  So all and I do recommend this movie go with your friend or go with your family and have fun.     

HAMARI ADHURI KAHANI MOVIE REVIEW

Hamari Aduri Kahani I wont say it’s a perfect film but I even wont say it’s a bad movie. This movie has its own way of expressing it self. In this movie few sequences are so long that it will make you desperate but for good. I haven’t seen a movie with this kind of story treatment in years. If you have some understating about filmmaking than I am sure this movie will touch your heart.

If you like intense drama than climax will really disturb you. One thing for sure only Bhatt camp can bring a movie like this. Movie’s script could be better but still its not a bit bad at all.

Mohit Suri’s direction is not outstanding but still he makes a new and fresh story believable only by his own way of storytelling. After watching AASHIQUI 2 and EK VILLAIN he has raised his own bar of expectations but presentation could be better.

If you ask me in this movie Rajkumar Rao has steal the show he has delivered some excellent sequences. On the other hand Vidhya’s role was most difficult but she is also good and Emraan Hashmi also delivers a good performance.

In music department Bhatt camp follows their legacy and once again all the song are excellent and they are already chartbusters.

So all and all if you want to watch an intense drama than and than only go for Hamari Adhuri Kahani…

BOMBAY VELVET MOVIE REVIEW

Friends I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. Finally Anurag Kashyap is back with his ambitious dream project Bombay Velvet. Before you watch this movie you have to understand one thing that Anurag Kashyap has his own distinct way of filmmaking he in no Karan Johar or Rohit Shetty but it does not mean he is not talented according to me Anurag Kashyap is one of the finest filmmakers of Indian cinema.

First of all Bombay Velvet’s biggest attraction is not Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma or Karan Johar its Anurag kashyap’s direction. It’s the first time when Anurag Kashyap is making a movie on this big scale and this movie will decide his future or should I say his playground.

Bombay Velvet is again a typical Anurag Kashyap movie with weird characters and twisty story line. Ranbir Kapoor is playing the character of Johnny AKA johnny Balraj who wants to become a big shot a street fighter and wants to be with Rosie (Anushka Sharma) who is a Jazz singer. And with them we have Karan Johar who is playing the character of Kaizad Khambata.

Ranbir kapoor is just average in this movie his fans will be disappointed but on the other hand Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar are amazing. I was excited to see Karan Johar acting on screen and he is outstanding.

The story of Bombay Velvet takes place in Mumbai 1960. One thing which is really amazing in this movie is Art direction the way they created retro era on screen is simply brilliant.

All and all Bombay velvet does not match Anurag Kashyap standards. Only a typical class of audience will enjoy this movie.  

SHAMITABH MOVIE REVIEW

While I was watching shamitabh I was really expecting a great movie because the cast of the film is spectacular. One side you have Dhanush and he was amazing in Ranjhnaa and on the other side we have Amitabh Bachchan the biggest star of Bollywood so obviously the expectation would be high.

Shamitabh is story of Danish who desire to be an actor and comes to Mumbai to become an actor who is found by enthusiastic assistant director Akshara but here is one problem despite he is a good actor he is dumb so now enters Amitabh who also wanted to be an actor but he was rejected by the industry for his heavy voice.

First of all let’s talk about performances Amitabh Bachchan is great as always he is ruling on screen whenever he is on screen and on the other side Dhanush is also great when Dhanush and Amitabh Bachchan are on screen together those are simply high points of Shamitabh.

What I really liked in Shamitabh is its technical aspect. Camerawork is outstanding and the way the movie is shot that is also something new and unusual.  Music is given by Ilaiyaraaja whose songs are also good.

The only weak point and the biggest weak point is script as I said everything is good but just because of weak script the movie does not come out as a complete package.

So go for Shamitabh only for Amitabh Bachchan and its technical aspects.

HAWAIZAADA TRAILER REVIEW

    

Hello everyone Ayushmann Khurrana’s latest movie Hawaizaada’s trailer is out on internet if you haven’t seen it yet its right here have a look.

Hawaizaada is situated in a time when flying in air was just a dream. Hawaizaada is based on life on scientist Shivkar Bapuji Talpade who is credited to construct India’s first airplane in year 1895. Shivkar Bapuji Talpade constructed airplane before Wright Brothers actually constructed first airplane.

In Hawaizaada Ayushmann Khurrana plays role of Shivkar Bapuji and Mithun Chakraborty plays role of Pandit Subbarāya Shāstry, under Shastry’s guidance Shivkar Bapuji created airplane and Pallavi Sharda plays Shivkar’s love interest. In trailer we can see Ayushmann Khurrana in a nerdy look who is very weak in studies but he is very intelligent, who dreams about big things but everyone thinks he is useless.

The movie is directed by Vibhu Puri. The trailer is looking very good. As of now Ayushmann Khurrana desperately need a hit film. Because after giving flops like Nautanki Saala and Bewakoofiyaan his acting career is vacillating. In trailer Ayushmann Khurrana is looking good and he is in his full form and he will do everything to bring this movie to success.

All and Hawaizaada trailer is impressive.

BADLAPUR BOYS MOVIE REVIEW

Hello everyone. I like offbeat films. This Friday an offbeat movie released named BADLAPUR BOYS and here is my review….

The story is situated in a village in Uttar Pradesh named Badlapur. Badlapur is suffering from dry for many years. The situation of farmers in village is very bad. After trying to build a canal in village for so many years finally a farmers commits suicide and that farmer has a son Vijay who is an excellent Kabaddi player.

After a long struggle Vijay receives help from national Kabaddi coach Surajbhan Singh played by Annu Kapoor who helps Suraj to enhance his game. Surajbhan Singh is coaching an unprofessional team to compete in a championship. In suraj’s leadership the team enters in state level tournament where winning is not so easy and the rest of the story is about suraj’s dreams and struggle.

With Badlapur Boys Shailesh Verama is making his directorial debut. Before this movie Shailesh Verama wrote the story of Salman Khan’s VEER. The director’s vision is completely confused. All and all the direction is average.

In acting department again Annu kapoor delivers a natural performance as Surajbhan Singh. The lead actor Nishan could have done better but the story doesn’t allow his character to shine. 

So all and all this movie doesn’t worth your time and money.     

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies movie review

Here comes the Final chapter of Peter Jackson’s Hobbit trilogy THE HOBBIT: THE BATTLE OF THE FIVE ARMIES.  So here is my review.

First of all from the very first moment to the ending credits this movie takes you in a different world. They don’t waste time on building up they simply starts the movie where last movie ended and they ends this movie where The Lord Of The Rings Started. Peter Jackson’s vision of middle earth is so effective that he makes you feel that you are really in middle earth so visually this movie is amazing.

Now let’s talk about performances Martin Freeman s Bilbo Baggins is as amazing as always. They wouldn’t find a better Bilbo Baggins. Ian McKellen as Gandalf the Grey is also amazing. But one actor who really outshines in this movie is Richard Armitage he is simply superb as Thorin. There are few moments between Bilbo and Thorin and they are really enjoyable.

This movie is full of action. There are lots of people out there who are saying that this movie is not like the book and I agree to that but whatever is happening on screen its fun to watch that. There are huge war sequences and they are enjoyable.

The only problem I had with this movie is I wanted to see more of Bilbo Baggins. And I don’t know why but this time they tried to create some romantic moments and believe me they doesn’t work at all and last thing which I didn’t like is its climax is quite sudden. When it ends it feels like “oh it’s over I was expecting something more”.

But all and all it’s a fun movie, everyone will enjoy it and I personally suggest you to watch it in 3D.

TERMINATOR GENISYS TRAILER REVIEW

Guys we all know that new Terminator Genisys trailer is out and it’s the fifth movie in Terminator franchise and I hope you all have seen the trailer by now and here is my review of Terminator Genisys trailer.

Now it’s a reboot of Terminator Franchise and there will be a trilogy of Terminator reboot franchise. In the beginning of trailer we can see that in future Machines are ruling on earth and they are killing the humans. John Conner played by Jason Clarke is leading human resistance. Now machines sends a terminator back in time to kill John Conner’s mother Sarah Conner so in future John Conner wouldn’t exist but to ensure his existence,  John Conner sends his best lieutenant Kyle Reese played by Jai Courtney back in time to save his mother and his existence along with the future of human race.

When   Kyle Reese arrives in present he discovers that Sarah Conner is only a teenage girl played by Emilia Clarke who is raised by another Terminator played by Arnold Schwarzenegger so in present there is one terminator and one lieutenant trying to protect Sarah Conner and against them there is a T-1000 terminator model played by Lee-Byung-hun And after that lots of chase and kiosk.

In the trailer there are some really cool action sequences and yellow bus back flip sequences is my personal favorite. And visually the trailer really enjoyable after the fiasco of Terminator Salvation I hope this movie can fulfill audience’s expectations from a terminator movie.   As a person I am a huge fan of Terminator movies and you have to admit this trailer is really cool. The movie is coming out July 1, 2015 and definitely I am not gonna miss this one.

ACTION JACKSON MOVIE REVIEW

So friends I am afraid to tell you but something terrible happened today Action Jackson is in theatres now. And throughout the entire movie I was thinking about only one thing can somebody please shorten the film and end it right now. And do you know what is strange about this movie you have to pay money to watch it. I was one of the innocent people who bought tickets to watch Action Jackson and “I WANT MY MONEYBACK”

I was so wrong about Action Jackson when I saw the trailer and see now we have the result in front of us.

By now you can understand that   Action Jackson is an awful movie, I even don’t want to think about it because thinking about Action Jackson brings my mind back to the torture I had watching it. Is it really hard to make a nice movie? 

Usually I don’t reveal too much about the movie’s story in my review but I don’t want anybody to go through that Action Jackson trauma so in this movie Ajay Devgan is in double role one is local gangster Vishi of Mumbai and the other one AJ is right hand of an international don. Don’s Sister Marina falls in love with AJ and obsesses him. AJ refuses to marry her than Marina tries to kill AJ’s girlfriend Anusha (Yami Gautam) but she survives so AJ brings her to Mumbai where he meets Vishi and ask him to go to Bangkok and marry Marina till than he can be with his wife while she is been operated and in the end AJ kills everyone with his Katana. 

From the beginning to end Action Jackson makes no sense at all. The entire movie is about 3 things Action, Dance and Comedy. Now for the sake of action on the screen Ajay Devgan is walking with bare chest and cutting everyone with his Katana. For Dance Ajay Devgan is dancing on screen not good. And in this movie comedy doesn’t make you laugh it doesn’t even make chuckle so the movie fails in all aspects. 

So all and all if somebody is paying on your behalf to watch Action Jackson believe me he don’t want you to be happy.

HORRIBLE BOSSES 2 MOVIE REVIEW

Few years ago when I watched Horrible Bosses honestly I enjoyed it.  So now we have a sequel Horrible bosses 2.

Now if you ask me according to me in all movie genres comedy is the most difficult. Reality is based on reality. You can make anyone cry because at present everyone is always crying about something. But making somebody laugh is not so easy. So whenever a comedy movie is out t give it first priority and here is my review of Horrible bosses 2.

First of all let’s talk about cast. The entire cast of Horrible Bosses is returning in this movie including Jamie Foxx and Kevin Spacey. The lead trio Nick (Jason Bateman), Dale (Charlie Day) and Kurt (Jason Sudeikis) they are perfect trio. They are excellent together their comic timing, their dialogue delivery everything is simply outstanding. With them we have Jennifer Aniston, Jamie Foxx and Kevin Spacey who are reprising their roles from last film. The new entry is Chris Pine our beloved Captain Kirk from Star Trek.  Performances are the only good thing of this movie.

The story plot of Horrible Bosses was idiotic so in sequel it’s more idiotic. We all know in comedies story plots are always idiotic because that was makes a comedy movie. Now the story must have some twist and turns but in Horrible bosses 2 there are so many twists and turns that eventually you are like “Man I don’t buy this anymore”.

The problem with this movie is it’s so idiotically mindless that it makes you wonder “What the hell is going on”. In comedy I always believe that the laughter must come from audience without any effort but if you try to make audience laugh than it’s not good. So in Horrible bosses 2 the characters try so hard to make you laugh that it makes you think that they are trying to make you laugh so you should laugh but about what ?

So all and all Horrible bosses 2 only worth Watching on TV.

UNGLI MOVIE REVIEW

I saw Ungli on first day first show. Clearly audience is not excited for this movie and the reason is  lack of promotion. Almost 75% of theatre was empty and those few people who appeared I was one of them who watches every movie and rest of the crowd has clearly nothing important to do.

Ungli is movie about a gang who fights against corruption. They fights against problems of common man for example government officers asking for bribe, auto drivers asking for double fare, traffic police officers  asking for bribe, RTO officers who issues fake driving licenses. Yes we all face these problems everyday and we all want all these to end.

The gang has five friends  Emraan Hashmi, Kangana Ranaut, Randeep Hooda, Angad Bedi and Neil Bhoopalam who are from different fields of work and. I know as of now you are thinking its nice premise and I admit that but the execution is pathetic. Its nice to see Sanjay Dutt back on big screen in police uniform but his role is very short and even his dialogues are filthy.

Ungli has  actors like Sanjay Dutt, Randeep Hooda, Kangana Ranaut and Emraan Hashmi who are amazing performers and can carry whole film to success on their shoulders but they all together have failed to save Ungli because the movie doesn’t focus on them it focuses on making it worst movie possible.

Ungli is directed by Rensil D’Silva who previously directed Kurbaan and this time he is back again with a brand new idea which is even worst than Kurbaan . The story has a whole bulk of loop holes in it. And as I already said dialogues are ridiculously  filthy. Even the songs and background score is not good enough to keep you engaged to movie. I know out there is an entire Emraan Hashmi fan club who watches his every movie but with Ungli they will be disappointed.  

So all and all I recommend not to watch Ungli not only in theatres but not even on TV.

6-5=2 movie review

Hello everyone. I know you were not very excited about this movie neither I was. But may be an evil spirit possessed me and made me watch this film.


6 – 5 = 2 is a so called found footage horror film. Its a remake of a Cannada movie of same name. If we compare this film to all the horror movie which came this year so far it is a good film.  The story and premise is scary. Have you ever thought what made Paranormal Activity one of the scariest movies of all time the "found footage" thing. Whenever we are watching a found footage film it feels like we are not only watching the film it more feels like being there.


 According to me there are 2 things which ruined this film first worst possible performance by all actors and second is Hollywood. In all these year Hollywood gave us so many good found footage films that this movie struggles so much to deliver us something new and fresh. Even the jump scares you can easily assume a jump scare before it even happen of screen.


Really it’s been years since I watched I genuine good Hindi horror film. This year in total 6 horror movies came so far and surprisingly all with different premise but unsurprisingly all of them were unbearable.


So all and I request all of you to please don’t go for this movie….


And one more thing this movie's most so called horror moments are already in its trailer so watch the trailer which is right here…and avoid the film.
