UNGLI MOVIE REVIEW

I saw Ungli on first day first show. Clearly audience is not excited for this movie and the reason is  lack of promotion. Almost 75% of theatre was empty and those few people who appeared I was one of them who watches every movie and rest of the crowd has clearly nothing important to do.

Ungli is movie about a gang who fights against corruption. They fights against problems of common man for example government officers asking for bribe, auto drivers asking for double fare, traffic police officers  asking for bribe, RTO officers who issues fake driving licenses. Yes we all face these problems everyday and we all want all these to end.

The gang has five friends  Emraan Hashmi, Kangana Ranaut, Randeep Hooda, Angad Bedi and Neil Bhoopalam who are from different fields of work and. I know as of now you are thinking its nice premise and I admit that but the execution is pathetic. Its nice to see Sanjay Dutt back on big screen in police uniform but his role is very short and even his dialogues are filthy.

Ungli has  actors like Sanjay Dutt, Randeep Hooda, Kangana Ranaut and Emraan Hashmi who are amazing performers and can carry whole film to success on their shoulders but they all together have failed to save Ungli because the movie doesn’t focus on them it focuses on making it worst movie possible.

Ungli is directed by Rensil D’Silva who previously directed Kurbaan and this time he is back again with a brand new idea which is even worst than Kurbaan . The story has a whole bulk of loop holes in it. And as I already said dialogues are ridiculously  filthy. Even the songs and background score is not good enough to keep you engaged to movie. I know out there is an entire Emraan Hashmi fan club who watches his every movie but with Ungli they will be disappointed.  

So all and all I recommend not to watch Ungli not only in theatres but not even on TV.

BANG BANG MOVIE REVIEW

“Bang Bang is a visually amazing film with no story and shallow characters”

If you are really of this world than you know today Bang Bang is out.

Bang Bang is the official remake of 2010 Hollywood film KNIGHT AND DAY starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz the original film was a flop but it was a fun movie to watch.  Now when you are making a remake first issue is casting because whoever you cast it will be directly compared to the original so you must have  a strong cast all points goes to Bang Bang they couldn’t have a better cast then they have.

 When Bang Bang was announced Katrina Kaif was finalized in first place than for male lead Shahid Kappor was approached but he didn’t wanted people to compare him with Tom Cruise so he left the project after him Hrithik Roshan was finalized for male lead. Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif both are badass in Bang Bang. They are looking amazing in such a good shape doing some badass action like when you are watching them on screen it will inspire you to have a gym membership A.S.A.P.

First of all Bang Bang is visually stunning each and every frame is perfect.  The has some exotic locations like Thailand , Santorini ( Greece ) , Phuket , Shimla and Abu dhabi. If you know or not but Bang Bang is the first film to be shot in Abu Dhabi. So 1 more point goes to Bang Bang for being visually amazing.

Now music , the duo of Vishal – Shekhar gave music of Bang Bnag. The labum have five songs in it and all are good I mean more than good.  Out of all five songs I really liked “Tu Meri” and “Meherbaan” but my favorite is title track with amazing dance moves of Hrithik Roshan sadly it comes with ending credits so you can’t enjoy it with peace.

According to me Bang Bang Has some really out of the world action sequences , when I say they are out of the they really are. Bang Bang has some action which you have never seen before in any Bollywood or Hollywood film. For example the Flyboard sequence Bang Bang is the first film in with Flyboardstunts in the world.  Apart from thant other action sequences are also amazing. One more thing which is notable is “VFX” they are extraordinary they do the right trick with your eyes.

I am telling you all the good thing about Bang Bang now there are also some bad thing like store after watching the film when you are driving bank to home and you think what was it all about and you don’t have any answer. The story doesn’t exist in Bang Bang I mean when you are making a film of such high scale and budget at least higher a junior writer.

In the entire film Hrithik Roshan is kickass but sadly he doesn’t say a say single dialogue which is memorable. He appears on screen looks amazing with his abs do the stunt which are also amazing and it ends no dialoge nothing at all.

So when you have everything but no story than eventually everything looks shallow. So the characters are shallow their intention makes no sense action sequence comes and goes without and meaning.

So if you want to have some good time with your friends than go for it it’s a fun movie to watch but please do not expect anything more than fun.
