Just like Harry Potter and Twilight the makers of Hunger Games decided to split last book into two movies. Why not they are confident about their final movie so they can make another movie just before the final to make more money by only selling the name of franchise.
I have read The Hunger Games Trilogy and I know the last installment has lots of action in it. But in this movie you don’t see lots of action, this movie is all about the politics and the rebellion going on not with the gun but with the mind.
District 13 saves Katniss from Quarter Quell from last movie and they tells her that Capitol has destroyed her home District 12. The president of District 13 Alma coin wants Katniss to become the face of rebellion. Because out there in other districts there are people who wants to fight against Capitol but they need a hope, the need a leader to follow and that leader is Katniss Everdeen the Mockingjay.
In first movie it was Hunger Games in second movie it was Quarter Quell of Hunger Games Which is even better but in this movie there is no games it all comes to reality now. Instead of Hunger games there is a bigger game going on. In most part of the movie they shows the politics and I really enjoyed that. Capitol is doing propos against rebels and rebels are doing their propos its all intense mind game.
One more thing that there are some action sequences in this movie and they are cool and I wanted to see more but it all ended with a disappointment . And this movie there are so many characters that at the end you don’t even care about them you only care about Katniss, you start seeing other characters as a part of crowd.
So all and all The Hunger Games Mokingjay Part 1 is a one time watch and obviously I am excited for its final coming next year.
